Tuesday, August 9, 2011 12:57 PM
Subject: Issue of updated pamphlet for IAF Pensioners

Dear Sir,
1. After retirement pensioners/ family pensioners have a lot of issues where they need help and guidance. The primary issue for most of the pensioners is to be sure that they are getting the correct pension from their bank. In addition other issues related with retiring pension, disability pension family pension, ECHS etc. could occupy their mind.
2. This Dte had issued a six page pamphlet for the benefit of IAF pensioners in March 2010. Since then a lot of rules have changed and based on queries received from pensioners an updated pamphlet “Check Your Pension Entitlement” has been released. This pamphlet is user friendly and covers a larger spectrum. It is updated as per Govt. letter received upto 01 August 2011.
3. t is requested that this pamphlet (attached) may be circulated to all the pensioners who are in contact with you.
