SCPC: Revision of Family Pension- MOD slip up

Respected Sir,

The 6th CPC had not recommended any specific rates of pension to certain categories of Special Family pensioners. The MOD also does not mention anything about the revised rates of pension to be paid to the above pensioners. But the Govt. accepted certain basic rates of pension for these special categories as per 5th CPC recommendations.

The MOD would have taken up the matter while issuing the circular on 6th CPC dt.11.11.08. But it had not done so. This involves lot of financial loss to the pensioners.

I have written an article on the subject along with a table for PBOR for your perusal and necessary action. REVISION OF SPECIAL FAMILY PENSION, DEPENDANT PENSION, DEPENDANT PENSION (LIBERALISED), LIBERALISED FAMILY PENSION- click link here

With best wishes to all the IESM functionaries. Long Live IESM. Jai Hind.
Yours sincerely,
C Muthukrishnan (Ex Sgt)
